BUFFALO ART ROOM
WHAT IS IT?
HOW THIS ALL STARTED
HOW THIS ALL STARTED
When I was a little girl I loved art supplies, the smell of crayons, the excitement of opening a brand new box of 64 crayon’s was like Christmas morning and a burst of happiness in my heart. The smell of paint filling the air feels like home to me.

My First Big Break
The newspaper that I was an Advertising Manager closed back in 2007 and that’s is when The Buffalo Art Room was born.
I was 11 years old when I met my first real artist, her name was Thelma Winters. To me as a little girl, it was like meeting Van Gogh as an adult. I knew then and there what I wanted to be when i grew up. I went to college because I wanted to be an art teacher, I called my Dad and said I am going to be a painting teacher, as parents do they think of the long hall and talked me into being a designer. Yes I worked in the Design field for many years... My love always came back to creating art and painting.
“When I was a little girl, my mom used to take me to Shea’s. When I saw this painting, it brought me back to that moment.”
